What is CO2RE Laser Resurfacing?

What to expect at Renovus Medical Spa
Patients can expect some moderate discomfort during the treatment, but the anesthetic applied prior to the procedure typically makes any discomfort tolerable. Over-the-counter pain relievers may be taken in the days after the procedure to alleviate any residual discomfort. Immediately following the procedure, patients may experience a sensation similar to a sunburn, lasting several hours. Patients may expect peeling of dead skin from the treatment area. This is a natural exfoliation process that may last for 7-10 days. There is seeping and oozing for 2-3 days until the injured skin seals. A bright red discoloration lasts for 5-7 days, evolving into a pinkish color and then returning back to normal skin tone. Usually by day 4 or 5 the patient feels comfortable enough to return to their normal routine. Both short term and maintenance skin care and skin repair programs will be recommended to enhance and prolong the results.
Anticipated Results
Generally, patients will see a dramatic improvement after one treatment. In the days after the treatment, skin will gradually appear softer and smoother.
