Our Story
In the spring of 2011, after 20 years in the U.S. Army Medical Corps and 23 years as a dermatologist in the Tri-Cities, Dr. Donald Clemons teamed up with Kathy Beard-Adkins LME, Director of Esthetics for 20 years in at their former practice, to jointly open Renovus Medical Spa. Originally located in Gray, Tennessee, they were able to acquire and develop their current facility in the spring of 2013.
Today we are one of the premier medical spas in the state, able to offer services and procedures to address the cosmetic concerns of our patients in the region. We have been the first in the region to offer long-term fillers, skin tightening, CoolSculpting, vaginal rejuvenation, erectile dysfunction treatments, needle-free injections, microneedling, and many other procedures.
Dr. Clemons has been a teacher and an innovator throughout his 50-year medical career. He has pioneered multiple devices in obtaining FDA clearance, and lectured and taught throughout the country as well as internationally. Kathy Beard-Adkins has helped establish treatment protocol and instructed medical personnel throughout the state. She has been intimately involved in bringing new technology and treatments into the region.
