What to expect at Renovus Medical Spa?
A numbing agent will be applied to the target area in preparation for the treatment ensuring safety and comfort, as the handheld device causes microscopic injuries to the skin.
Most of our patients describe the treatment as feeling warm, tickly or tingly.
The entire session, from application of the numbing agent to the PlasmaMD therapy, usually takes no more than one hour, depending on the size and location of the desired treatment area.
Anticipated Results
PlasmaMD is a non-surgical treatment with impressive results. We recommend a social downtime of 3-7 days. Patients should avoid wearing make-up during this time to allow the skin to heal and optimize results.
Results are noticeable straight after the first treatment, once the skin has healed. However, you will see ongoing improvements in the weeks and months following treatment, as your natural collagen and elastin develop.
