How does Zimmer Z Wave work?
Sonic waves are produced which cause cavitation bubbles that enter the tissue in order to break apart the fat cells and alter the texture and arrangement of the fibrous tissue in the treated region. We then use radiofrequency thermal radiation to heat the tissue, causing the collagen bundles to tighten, and then we use a far infrared light treatment to decrease the inflammatory component and enhance healing.
What to Expect at Renovus Medical Spa
A free consultation with examination is performed in the office by a Board Certified skin specialist physician. If he feels that you would benefit from the treatment then an appointment is made for a series of treatments based on the severity of your condition. Usually 6-8 treatments are recommended. There is no downtime or restriction following the treatment.
Anticipated Results
It generally takes 3-6 weeks for you to start seeing improvement with significant improvement occurring at 2 months.
