The NewApeel® Aesthetic Exfoliation System:

A Better Way to Healthier Skin

DiamondTome™ Wands are:
  • Safe
  • Clean
  • Precise
  • Effective

The NewApeel® Aesthetic Exfoliation system featuring the DiamondTomeTM Wand was pioneered and is manufactured only by Altair Instruments, Inc. This innovative skin rejuvenation technology produces superior results.

Exfoliation occurs only as the wand is drawn across the skin.

No loose crystals or other abrasives that contaminate you or your environment.

Even at its highest settings, NewApeel® is regarded as a gentler MicroExfoliation system yet provides more dramatic results than other skin care systems.

Achieve skin rejuvenation without the adverse effects of loose particles, burning, irritation, and skin reactions.

The precise diamond wand chip size and vacuum settings assure the appropriate amount of exfoliation that will produce uniform results.

NewApeel® offers a twenty-first century skin care technology for applying the millennia old technique of dermabrasion. By eliminating the powders and crystals (aluminum oxide and salt) NewApeel® has made skin rejuvenation the clean, controlled procedure it should be.

CO²RE Laser Skin Rejuvenation

Proven Effective in Eliminating the Effects of Aging on the Skin

CO²RE is a fractional therapy CO² laser for skin rejuvenation. Your skin is treated with a matrix of laser light points that vary in intensity, depending on your skin type and desired treatment results. The result is a treatment that is fast, more comfortable and requires less downtime than traditional resurfacing — enabling you to get back to your daily routine much quicker.

CO²RE has been proven effective in enhancing skin tone and texture, eliminating the effects of the sun and aging on the skin, smoothing out lines, wrinkles, and scars. Treatments range from mild to aggressive based on the extent of the rejuvenation you’re looking for.

Experience dramatic improvement:

  • Skin tone & texture
  • Sun damaged skin
  • Fine lines & wrinkles
  • Post-traumatic & acne scars
  • Age Spots

Q. How do I know if CO²RE treatments are right for me?
A. Ideal candidates for CO²RE are in their 30’s or older with skin damaged by exposure to the sun, age spots, fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration, rough texture, acne scars, and other skin imperfections. It is ideal for anyone seeking younger looking skin without the long downtime associated with conventional resurfacing procedures.

Q. What is the CO²RE procedure like?
A. You can expect some moderate discomfort during the treatment, but the anesthetic applied prior to the procedure typically makes any discomfort tolerable. For more aggressive, higher power treatments, Dr. Clemons may recommend a subcutaneous anesthetic, oral pain relievers and/or sedatives during the treatment session. Over-the-counter pain relievers may be taken in the days after the procedure to alleviate any residual discomfort.

Q. Is CO²RE safe?
A. Yes. You should speak with Dr. Clemons about your complete medical and skin history to minimize the potential for any negative reactions.

Q. How many CO²RE treatments will I need?
A. Generally you will see the difference you want after only one treatment. In the days after the treatment your skin will gradually look softer, smoother and tighter. The fine lines wrinkles, age spots and uneven textures will start to show immediate improvement.

Q. How long will the results last?
A. The durability of CO²RE results approaches that of surgical procedures. However, there are a number of variables that will determine how long you can expect the results to last including: your health, age and how you care for your skin after treatment.

Q. What can I expect after my procedure?
A. Immediately following the procedure you can expect a sensation similar to a sunburn, lasting several hours. You can expect peeling of dead skin from the treatment area. This is a natural exfoliation process that may last 7-10 days.

Q. Do I need to take any special precautions after treatment?
A. Dr. Clemons may recommend a short course of antibiotics to minimize any risk of infection. Use of a moisturizer and sun screen is highly recommended during the healing process and for the weeks and months following treatment.
